TIE BREAKER RULES FOR SOO PEE WEE GAMES

A.      For teams with the same number of points in the standings (in the event of a tie at the end of the round-robin series):

1.       The team with the most wins takes the higher position.

2.       If still tied, use Goal Average—determined by dividing the total “goals for and against” into the “goals for”.  The team with the higher percentage takes the higher position, based on all games in the round-robin series.

3.       The record between the two tied teams (winner will get the higher position).

4.       If still tied—the team which scored the first goal in the game between the two teams takes the higher position.

5.       If still tied—the team which received the least minutes in penalties throughout the round-robin series will take the higher position.

6.       If still tied—the winner of a single “COIN TOSS” will take the higher position
